About Momentum Group
How We Work Together
In our coaching sessions, we love helping individuals and teams expand their capacity to grow and thrive, using a unique set of tools and techniques that focus on concrete outcomes. We take a very personalized and methodical approach to working with every client.
We kick things off with a design session to explore your objectives, our coaching style, and to make sure we’re a good fit. Then we work on clarifying your desired outcomes and creating a line of sight to achieving them using a variety of conversational and written tools that center on what works for you.
Group workshops and offsites are also available.
The Process
Here is a brief outline of our journey together:
- Start with design session to get acquainted, explore objectives, and make sure we’re a good fit.
- Schedule follow-up coaching sessions that are typically 60-minute Zoom meetings, but can also be done in person and a variety of other options including our signature "walking sessions"– coaching while getting your steps. Full and half-day workshops are also available.
- A series of 5 or 10 coaching sessions is recommended to achieve best outcomes and we typically schedule them weekly or bi-weekly for continuous progress. Discounts are offered for packages of 5 or 10 sessions.
- Exercises during the session and outside involve clarifying your assumptions, perceived constraints and opportunities, brainstorming, journaling, reading books on leadership development, role playing, putting together an execution plan, SWOT analysis of organizations, teams and individual performance.
Meet Your Coach
Andy Dobrov, Certified Professional Coach
Andy is a Certified Professional Coach and has 20+ years of leadership coaching experience, ranging from executive leadership, managers and emerging leaders, career advancement, team coaching, and DEI.
He has enjoyed executive coaching and mentoring leaders at all levels throughout his extensive career as a business executive, building global organizations for a variety of technology companies in Silicon Valley. While at Cohesity, Andy sponsored the Diversity and Inclusivity initiative and was the Executive Sponsor for the Black Affinity Group while at EMC.
Andy held executive roles in Customer Success, Engineering, Sales, Operations and Security – with a passion for developing exceptional leaders who can create world class organizations. The companies Andy worked for enjoyed tremendous growth and success including a record-breaking IPO, profitable acquisitions, integrations, and building organic growth from scratch.
Andy is a Bay Area native residing in Palo Alto, with a Masters in Engineering from Stanford University, Certified Professional Coach, speaks Russian and Spanish fluently, and has always had a passion for growth and human potential.
